Introducing your instructor
The photography bug bit me back in the 1980s, during my service in the United States Marine Corps, where I learned the basics of photography by trial and error without digital shortcuts.
After the Marines, photography became my passion for the next six years. I worked in a custom printing lab, soaking up knowledge and rising to lab manager. During this time, I sought mentorship from seasoned photographers and honed my skills in portraiture and nature photography.
I then transitioned to a career in Information Technologies. For 24 years, I balanced my love for photography with a successful IT career, evolving from technician to IT Manager to Network Engineer and instructor for new employees on internal software, CRM systems, and Microsoft products.
In January 2021, I returned to photography, founding Pharr Out Media. Initially focusing on real estate and interior photography, I soon expanded to include portraits, personal branding, and headshots. With decades of experience and a deep understanding of both technical and creative aspects, I'm excited to share my knowledge and help you elevate your photography skills. Join my class and let's capture the world together!
